On April 21st, Saturn, our hard-knock planet of boundaries and karmic lessons, forms a powerful conjunction with the North Node of fate at 26° of the dreamy, delulu sign of Pisces.
The last time these two power players got this close in this sign? Way back in 1877.
“That year marked pivotal moments in spiritual and scientific evolution,” Hong Kong-based counselor and award-winning astrologist Letao Wang of The Healing Kingdom told The Post. “Thomas Edison invented the phonograph, theosophical movements gained momentum, and collective consciousness leaned toward innovation and mysticism.”
As this alignment returns, Wang says we will be called to question whether we, too, are living in alignment with our true purpose.
“In astrology, Saturn represents discipline, structure, and life’s hard-earned wisdom, while the North Node symbolizes our destined path and soul growth,” Wang explained.
“When these two forces unite, they create a powerful push toward maturity—limitations transform into stepping stones, and patience becomes our greatest ally.”
He notes that because stern daddy Saturn is the ancient ruler of both Capricorn and Aquarius, those with prominent placements in either sign will find this conjunction especially significant.
The same applies to those with personal planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars) in 20-29 degrees of Pisces.
According to Wang, this conjunction encourages:
- Releasing outdated fears that block progress.
- Strengthening bonds with mentors or authority figures who guide us.
- Realizing long-term ambitions through disciplined action.
Wang maintains that the North Node of the moon softens Saturn’s edges, “offering divine timing opportunities arrive not by chance but as reflections of our readiness to evolve.”
The lunar nodes are not planets or celestial bodies but two calculated points between the sun’s ecliptic and the moon’s orbit. Their position changes signs every 18 months. The karmic axis, or zodiac polarity, in which the nodes fall, corresponds to the annual phases of solar and lunar eclipses.
The nodes shifted into the Pisces/Virgo axis on January 11, 2025 and will remain in the crux of practical magic until July 26, 2026.
Retrurning to the conjunction between the North Node and Saturn, Wang reminds us that the ringed planet represents authority figures — and suggests we can all benefit from listening to the words of our elders
“A father, teacher or an older superior might whisper some important wisdom at your ear this period of time. Pay attention and don’t be stubborn.”
In other words, more “interesting point you make there, O graying sage” — less “OK boomer.”
Further softening and sweetening the deal is that Venus, our planet of love as a drug and beauty as balm is joining the conjunction junction — amplifying themes related to wealth, self-worth and creative fulfillment.
“Financially and artistically, this is a time to invest in what truly matters, aligning resources with spiritual values.”
Wang notes that in the wake of this conjunction and in the realm of relationships, “some bonds may deepen with purpose, while others may dissolve to make space for soul-aligned connections.”
Wang explains that because this alignment is happening in Pisces, it will be of particular importance to the mutable signs.
Geminis could see advancements in career and soul purpose, Virgos may face the weight of karmic relationships, Sag folk could at long last peacefully resolve ancestral issues and Pisces folk are primed to experience epiphanies related to self-love.
For all signs, Wang imparts, “As this celestial event unfolds, remember: you are exactly where you need to be. The universe is aligning lessons and blessings to help you grow. If life feels heavy, know that Saturn’s weight is shaping you for higher callings. If love feels fated, trust Venus’ gentle nudge toward harmony. Breathe. Release. Build. The past may echo, but the future is yours to craft.”
