2025 WNBA Mock Draft: The drama after No. 1 Paige Bueckers

Fresh off winning a national championship with UConn, Paige Bueckers is set to grace the orange carpet Monday in New York for the WNBA draft (7:30 p.m. ET, ESPN).

Bueckers is the obvious pick to go No. 1 overall to the Dallas Wings.

But she’s probably the only layup when it comes to this year’s draft. After that, there’s plenty of uncertainty and intrigue.

The defending champion Liberty, who were slated to select at No. 7, traded the pick to the Connecticut Sun last month to acquire point guard Natasha Cloud.
