A proud Nebraskan, she has chronicled some of the most thrilling sports moments of the past decade, including Cubs playoff series, improbable Final Four runs and Stephen Curry winning a fourth NBA Finals title. After graduating from Loyola University of Chicago, Madeline started her newspaper career at the Chicago Sun-Times, where she covered everything from sports to crime and courts. She spent two seasons covering the Warriors for the Bay Area News Group and a year on the Michigan State beat for the Detroit News before joining the Post in November 2024.
